Shipping Policy

How quickly do you ship orders?

Most in-stock items will ship within 48 hours of ordering. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or United States holidays. Depending on product availability, items may not be shipped on the same day. In the event that an ordered item is out of stock, we will notify you within 48 hours by email and give you an estimated delivery time for the item.

Shipping charges are automatically calculated from the shopping cart and you will see all totals before committing to the order. You will receive an email confirmation verifying that your order has been shipped. We use the following major carriers for shipping: FedEx, UPS (United Parcel Service), USPS (United States Postal Service).

What if you are out of stock on an item I have ordered?

In the event that an ordered item is out of stock, we will notify you of this by email and give you an estimated delivery time for the item. If the new delivery date does not meet your expectations then you are free to change or cancel your order.

We work closely with manufacturers from around the world. Typically, for our finer linens that are not in stock, delivery can take up to 30-40 days from receipt of order. Given the quality and care in manufacturing these linens, these items are usually made and ordered just for you. We will always endeavor to ship as quickly as possible.

Are there additional fees if shipping international from the United States?

Customs duty is a tariff or tax imposed on goods when transported across international borders and are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Although duties and taxes are not always incurred, these fees will be collected at the time of delivery and are the responsibility of the Customer.

Other adjustments
Linens Of The World reserves the right to adjust carriers for shipping if original carrier/shipping cost is exceeded on actual shipment to stay within shipping costs on customer invoice. Customer will be notified.
